Priam is a crisp, tart, aromatic, apple that is an excellent dessert apple. Priam apples are an attractive green-yellow with a red blush. They store well, and are best eaten between October to January.
Priam was named for Priam, the last king of Troy, the father of Paris.
Disease resistance: resistant to apple scab and fire blight.
Parentage: Jonathan x 14-126 (a seedling with genetics of Golden Delicious, Rome Beauty, Japanese flowering crabapple, and more).
